Summary:
Goldenrod Moram thought she had the weirdest name ever. On top of that Charla, Goldenrod's best friend, has moved and Goldenrod is extremely lonely. Goldenrod loves maps so she decides to make the most accurate map of the Pilmilton Woods. Unfortunately, the woods aren't as empty as Goldenrod thought. No, there is a whole secret society in those very woods,  including a creepy Ghost...

E's Thoughts:
I loved the storyline and the action in The Mapmaker and the Ghost. This novel had hilarious names and nicknames. My favorite character in this book is Goldenrod because she is daring and adventurous. Sometimes her love for maps is interesting but sometimes, it's well- boring. The words and descriptive paragraphs left a clear picture in my mind.  I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
