Summary:
Llama and his mama have so much to do to get ready for the holidays, but all little Llama can think is "How long till that special date?" In the end he learns there is more to this wonderful season then presents and errands.
K's Thoughts:
I love the Llama books and Ms. Dewdney did not disappoint. Though it isn't my favorite in the series, it was certainly a fun read for both me and the kids. The illustrations are fantastic, full of movement, bright colors, and entertainment. My kids love to read this one over and over- laughing and noticing new things every time.
The book isn't very long, only a few short rhyming sentences to each page- which makes it a great quick read before bed. Certainly a wonderful Christmas gift for young kids, especially for those who love the rest of the Llama books :)
A cute Christmas story to make you laugh and remind little ones how wonderful family is.
